Chandigarh, Punjab: In a major development for the state’s economy, Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora announced a significant Punjab investment boost during a press conference. The Jogindra Group will invest a total of ₹1,100 crore in Mandi Gobindgarh, with ₹700 crore allocated to expanding its steel plant and an additional ₹400 crore earmarked for renewable energy projects.
The investment will increase steel production capacity by 3 lakh tonnes, creating new employment opportunities and contributing to the industrial growth of Punjab.
