Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann congratulated the Indian Women’s Cricket Team for winning the ICC World Cup, calling them the pride and brand ambassadors of Punjab.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann congratulated the Women Indian cricket team for winning the ICC Women’s World Cup by beating South Africa in a great game.

The Chief Minister talked to the squad members on video conference and emphasized that the girls had not only won the World Cup, but they had also made history by winning the globe. He stated that these girls make the state proud and that they will be welcomed back to Punjab with open arms every time they come back. Bhagwant Singh Mann added that these footballers are the state’s brand ambassadors since their hard effort has set a new standard.

He also said that it is good that the teams of Indian Cricket, Hockey, Basketball, and Football are led by players from Punjab.

Bhagwant Singh Mann added that the whole team has made the whole country proud with this great win. He stated that these girls of the soil have made a name for themselves in international cricket, which is a huge source of pride and happiness for the state.
