AAP sweeps Punjab elections; Kejriwal credits Bhagwant Mann leadership during press conference, highlighting healthcare, jobs, and anti-drug initiatives.
Chandigarh: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was credited by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chairman Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday with the party’s victory in the Punjab local body elections, describing it as a “public stamp” on his capable leadership. He claimed that because Chief Minister Mann has done so much for the people, there was a wave in favor of the administration in Punjab. According to Kejriwal, Punjab was pro-incumbency.
“The Aam Aadmi Party has won over 70% of the seats in the Block Samiti and Zilla Parishad elections, according to the findings. “This is a big deal,” he declared.
The AAP chief said that the Mann administration destroyed drug dealers’ homes in Punjab using bulldozers. He said that Punjab’s healthcare system was strengthening and that people were finding employment.

In the state, 58,000 young people have been offered government jobs. Currently, there are about 1000 Mohalla Clinics operating throughout the state. This facility has made people very delighted. Every household will receive insurance worth Rs 10 lakhs starting in January, according to Kejriwal.
According to Kejriwal, the entire process was captured on CCTV, and the elections were held in a free and fair manner.

Mann praises the expanding footprints of AAP
AAP’s roots are spreading throughout the nation, according to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, since the party has done very well in local body elections in a number of states. He refuted the claims of malpractice made by the opposition.

On December 14, elections were conducted to choose representatives for 2,838 zones of 153 panchayat samitis and 347 zones of 22 zila parishads.
