Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann announces 118 Schools of Eminence to equip youth with job-ready skills, free education, and coaching for national competitive exams.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann declared that his administration is dedicated to changing the course of the state’s young by preparing them to provide jobs rather than seek them out. Speaking to pupils at the Shaheed Subedar Mewa Singh School of Eminence in Morinda (Rupnagar district), Mann claimed that the state had brought about a new age of educational change that was preparing kids for success in the real world and preparing them for difficulties in the future. He said that with an investment of ₹231.74 crore so far, the government is establishing 118 Schools of Eminence as part of its historic efforts to create jobs and direct young people’s energies toward positive developme

According to the CM, in order to guarantee that no student is denied an education because of financial limitations, these institutions are offering free uniforms and bus services, particularly for girls. Even students from private colleges are increasingly applying to these schools, he said, adding that he envisions them as “temples of the modern era.”

According to Mann, specialized coaching is offered for competitive exams including NIFT, JEE, CLAT, NEET, and Armed Forces preparation. From Schools of Eminence and other government schools, 265 students qualified for JEE Mains, 44 cleared JEE Advanced, and 848 passed NEET, he noted. Additionally, he brought up the School Mentorship Program, which pairs kids in government schools with senior commanders.
