Punjab AAP secures a massive win in Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections, with Aman Arora calling it a mandate for Bhagwant Mann govt.

Aman Arora, the president of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab, thanked the people of Punjab for giving the party a resounding mandate in the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections. He described the results as a resounding endorsement of the AAP government’s people-centric policies and governance.

Aman Arora, speaking at a news conference in Chandigarh, complimented the Punjabi people on the successful election process and said that the polling on the 14th was one of the most fair and peaceful local body elections in recent memory, going off without a hitch.

“As the results keep coming in, it is evident that the Aam Aadmi Party has a strong and biased mandate. “I applaud all Punjabis for bolstering democracy and putting their faith in sound governance,” Arora remarked. He expressed his congratulations to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, party leaders, MLAs, candidates, and most importantly, the hard work of the party’s grassroots volunteers. He said the victory was the consequence of the AAP government’s performance over the previous few years.

Results for 71 of Punjab’s 354 zones were released at the time of the Zila Parishad elections, making it abundantly evident that the Aam Aadmi Party had a significant lead. As a result of an overwhelming mandate, the AAP has won 60 zones, while the Congress has only managed to gain seven. The declared results show a mainly one-sided trend in favor of the AAP, with the Shiromani Akali Dal winning one zone, the Independents winning two, and the BJP winning one. According to Arora, “nearly 85% of the declared Zila Parishad results have gone in favor of AAP, which clearly reflects the people’s confidence in our policies and leadership.”

At the time of this press conference, the results of 1,275 of Punjab’s 2,863 blocks in the Block Samiti elections had been announced, demonstrating the Aam Aadmi Party’s resounding and conclusive lead. While the Congress has won 216 blocks, the AAP has won 867 blocks, or around 68% of the results that have been announced. The Shiromani Akali Dal won 129 blocks, the Independents won 63, and the BJP won 20. These results further highlight the AAP’s one-sided mandate and the public’s strong support for the party’s government.Aman Arora called it a one-sided victory for the AAP, pointing out that although the process of counting ballots is slower, the trend clearly demonstrates Punjab’s preference for the Aam Aadmi Party and the Punjab government’s programs.

“We presented the work completed by the AAP government over the previous four years to the people’s court. “Our governance has been approved by the people of Punjab,” he stated. Aman Arora greeted all of the winning Zila Parishad and Block Samiti members and thanked the voters for their enormous support. He also promised that the AAP would keep working honestly, openly, and diligently to achieve Punjab’s goals.
