AAP leaders Baltej Pannu and Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal visit activist Raju after he was shot in Phagwara, vowing stronger action against gangsters and drug traffickers.

General Secretary Baltej Pannu and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Spokesperson and MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal paid a visit to AAP activist Raju at his home in Phagwara, where he was shot at by unknown gunmen last night.

After meeting with the AAP leader, Pannu told the media that the fire event was a cowardly move by gangsters and drug traffickers who were alarmed by the AAP Government’s resolute efforts to rid Punjab of drugs. He clarified that AAP leader Raju is not intimidated by such instances because he actively participates in the anti-drug campaign.

According to Pannu, the drug smugglers’ inability to put up with the AAP Government’s stringent measures is what led to this shooting. “We want to make it clear that if you try to intimidate us, we will eliminate gangsters from Punjab with double strength and double speed,” he stated, referring to their goal of frightening our employees. He reaffirmed that the AAP Government’s first objective is to rid Punjab of drugs.

Chief Minister Mann has explicitly told anyone engaged in criminal activity to either turn themselves in or leave Punjab, he continued. Under the direction of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the AAP Government, Punjab is secure.

Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, an MLA and Chief Spokesperson, stated that no political protection nor tickets are given to gangsters’ families. Gangsterism has no place in the transparent and orderly administration of the Mann Government. He said that the police are looking into the situation and that the investigation report will be released shortly.

He warned gangsters that the AAP Government will not compromise in its struggle against gangsters and drugs. “This fight is crucial to safeguarding Punjab’s future generation,” he continued.
