AAP’s Nitin Kohli assures Ambedkar Nagar residents that Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will act swiftly to resolve the 25-year issue and protect all families and places of worship.

Nitin Kohli, the Jalandhar Central Halka in-charge for the Aam Aadmi Party, stated that the matter will now be promptly handled, providing significant relief to hundreds of households in Ambedkar Nagar. He said that in order to guarantee prompt and efficient government action, he is personally bringing the entire issue before Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

Residents don’t have to worry, Kohli reassured them. He assured them that no family would be harmed and that their houses, temples, gurdwaras, and mosques would all be protected. Assuming personal accountability, he went on to say that he would ensure that no resident encountered any difficulties throughout the procedure.

“The efforts are not limited to the political level,” he added. According to Kohli, he has already taken the issue up legally after meeting with the relevant minister to explain the situation and having in-depth talks with the PSPCL Chief in Jalandhar. Kohli said he is certain that a lasting solution will be found shortly and that constant communication is taking place with all parties concerned.

He asserted that the state government had to come up with a solution that is unambiguous, long-lasting, and wholly in the public interest. The resolution procedure will move more quickly now that the matter has reached the Chief Minister, giving the impacted families respite in the near future. Additionally, Kohli told the people that they would be completely protected and supported, promising to always be there for them.

“Politization of the issue is not appropriate.”

Since the future of hundreds of families is at stake, Kohli underlined that the issue should not be politicized in any way. He claimed that the issue, which has persisted for about 25 years and involved multiple succeeding administrations, is not specific to any one government.

He called on all groups, political parties, and responsible citizens to unite and assist the impacted families. Kohli stated that he is making serious and resolute efforts to guarantee that these families eventually receive justice and a long-term solution, saying, “This is the time to rise above politics and work sincerely to provide relief to people.”
