Parliamentary Affairs Minister Holds Public Hearing in Jodhpur, Directs Officials to Act with Sensitivity and Discipline

Public Hearing by Parliamentary Affairs Minister at Circuit House – Officials Must Work with Sensitivity and Discipline in Public Interest: Shri Patel – Listened to Complaints and Issued Directions

Jaipur : Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Legal Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel stated that the state government is committed to resolving public grievances as well as ensuring overall public welfare and community development. He affirmed that no effort would be spared in these pursuits.

Shri Patel made these remarks on Monday during a public hearing held at the Circuit House in Jodhpur.

He listened to the concerns of the public and, after gathering factual updates from the concerned officials, issued detailed instructions for satisfactory and prompt redressal.

Shri Patel emphasized that officials must treat citizens’ and regional issues seriously, work with a spirit of public service, and set an example of governance filled with discipline and sensitivity. He directed departments to proactively address public grievances so that residents’ problems are resolved swiftly without delays.

The Minister stressed that ensuring the regular and uninterrupted availability of essential public services is the primary responsibility of departmental officers. He urged them to fulfill this duty with full sensitivity to bring the government’s commitment to good governance to life.

While patiently listening to the public’s issues, Shri Patel assured that appropriate solutions would be given priority.

During the hearing, discussions were held on complaints related to departments such as Revenue, Discom, Medical and Health, Public Works, Municipal Corporation, Jodhpur Development Authority, and Public Health Engineering. Necessary directions were issued to the officials for timely and effective resolution.
