Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that the state government is continuously working to ensure the benefits of various schemes reach the last person in society. To expand this initiative, a comprehensive plan has been made to observe the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambar Pakhwada from 24 June to 9 July across the entire state. Under this initiative, needy individuals will be provided benefits through important departmental schemes and essential services.
Shri Sharma stated that during this fortnight, issues related to pending revenue matters such as land demarcation, boundary disputes, and name transfers will be resolved. Additionally, under the Rural Development Department, BPL (Below Poverty Line) families will be linked with various welfare schemes through the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Poverty-Free Village Scheme. The Panchayati Raj Department will distribute ownership documents and carry out repairs of water harvesting structures for rainwater conservation.
The Chief Minister further said that during this pakhwada, the Energy Department will resolve problems related to dangling power cables and electric poles. The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) will issue pending water connections to the public. The Agriculture Department will approve installations under micro-irrigation schemes, including drip, mini, and sprinkler systems, and distribute Soil Health Cards. The Forest Department will distribute saplings from nurseries and carry out plantation drives under the “Hariyalo Rajasthan” campaign.
Shri Sharma mentioned that the Food Department will address pending cases under the National Food Security Scheme, perform Aadhaar seeding and e-KYC of new eligible families and members. The Animal Husbandry Department will conduct animal check-ups, treatment, and vaccination. The Education Department will carry out enrollment drives, school upgrades, and other academic necessities. He added that the Higher Education Department will distribute scooters and other departments will also provide benefits to the needy through their schemes and important services.
2 to 3 Camps to Be Held Daily in Every Tehsil
It is notable that under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambar Pakhwada, 2 to 3 camps will be held daily in every tehsil. After each camp, all departments will report their progress to the state government via the District Collector.
