CM Mohan Yadav performs Bhoomi Poojan for Shri Ram Raja Lok Phase 2 in Orchha, launching ₹332 Cr projects to boost tourism, jobs, and heritage preservation.

Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Chief Minister, said that lord Shri Ram became “Maryada Purushottam” due of his good deeds and godly behavior. Dr. Yadav, the Chief Minister, said that the people of Orchha are lucky because Lord Shri Ram chose Orchha for his Darbar. Every day, people in Orchha see Lord Ram Raja.

On Wednesday, CM Dr. Yadav spoke at the Bhoomi Poojan and opening ceremony for the second phase of “Shri Ram Raja Lok” and other development projects in Orchha, Niwari district. He did the Bhoomi Poojan for the second phase of “Shri Ram Raja Lok” using Vedic rituals. Before the function, CM Dr. Yadav went to the main temple and prayed at Shri Ram Raja Darbar. He also looked over the construction activity that was going on at the site for the first phase.

Dr. Yadav, the Chief Minister, claimed that development projects worth about ₹2,200 crore are also being on in Chitrakoot, in addition to Orchha. He said that Shri Ram Van Gaman Path and places linked to Lord Krishna’s holy pastimes will be turned into pilgrimage sites, and the money for these initiatives has already been approved. At the event, CM Dr. Yadav gave an NGO a Letter of Award after the Madhya Pradesh Electronics Development Corporation agreed to it.

Niwari Will Become a Nagarpalika Parishad

Dr. Yadav, the Chief Minister, said that Niwari city would soon be looked at for Nagar Palika Parishad status. He also said that Orchha will be connected to religious tourism amenities, as well as air ambulance and helicopter services. An airfield would be built for this reason. He said that Neendua Primary Health Centre would be turned into a new hospital and that roads would be created to satisfy the needs of the area.

Development Works Worth ₹332 Crore

CM Dr. Yadav talked about the long history between Ayodhya and Orchha. He said that Queen Ganesh Kuwari, who was married to the Bundela king Madhukar Shah and was a fervent disciple of Lord Shri Ram, took him from Ayodhya to Orchha in the 16th century. He said that Lord Shri Ram is not worshiped in the same way anywhere else as he is in Orchha, where many believe he spends the day there and only goes back to Ayodhya at night to rest.

Dr. Yadav, the Chief Minister, opened and performed Bhoomi Poojan for more than 21 projects worth more than ₹332.85 crore in Niwari district. These projects included a new Sandipani School and a new government college. With the help of Lord Shri Ram, a beautiful Shri Ram Raja Lok is being built at Orchha. The first part saw the dedication and launch of projects worth ₹130 crore. The second phase saw the Bhhomi Poojan for works costing roughly ₹125 crore. The area will also protect historic buildings and build archeological complexes.

Infrastructure for tourists from home and abroad

Under the first phase of Shri Ram Raja Lok, CM Dr. Yadav opened 103 new stores and plazas that cost ₹5.5 crore. This would make Orchha even more appealing to tourists. He stated that Orchha is working on seven development projects that will cost more than ₹239 crore. These projects include both phases of Shri Ram Raja Lok and other projects.

Dr. Yadav, the Chief Minister, said that Niwari is the second district in the state to get piped water to every home and have an integrated steel industry built there. The Ken-Betwa project will also bring big benefits to Niwari, which will help the area grow. Shri Ram Raja Lok will help the economy by bringing in tourists and religious people, which would create new jobs. In fact, homestays run by women in the villages of Ladpura Khas and Radhapura have been named top and second in the state. This year, a dozen more homestays will open in Chandpura and Jamuniya Khas.

Niwari is also making development in business. For example, Pacific Industry Metal Limited is building an integrated steel mill on about 300 hectares in Prithvipur. This will cost ₹3,200 crore and create jobs for young people in the area.

Orchha is getting more and more attention from people in India and around the world.

Dr. Yadav, the Chief Minister, declared that Orchha is going to become a famous tourist spot all over the world. Under Swadesh Darshan 2.0, the Union Ministry of Tourism is helping with infrastructural improvements such a Tourist Experience Center, Hunarshala, an entry plaza, and transit paths. UNESCO’s Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) program has chosen Orchha, and the Indian government has suggested that it be recognized as a World Heritage Site by 2027–28. He said that 18 spiritual, cultural, and religious “Loks” are being built all across the state. To protect the holiness of Orchha and other sacred towns, there is a total ban on any activities there. The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme has opened Orchha railway station at a cost of more than ₹6 crore. The Deendayal Rasoi Yojana, which provides healthy meals at ₹5, has been expanded to six pilgrimage cities, including Orchha.

In the future, CM Dr. Yadav hopes that pilgrims who come to Mahakaleshwar would also be lured to the beauty of Orchha. He said that infrastructure, beautification, and tourism services will be improved so that Orchha could become a central place for both spiritual and religious tourism.

Other Announcements

According to MLA Shri Anil Jain, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has changed Orchha by starting or finishing development projects worth more than ₹257 crore. For example, Niwari district got a new road for ₹112 crore and a new Sandipani School in Asati village worth ₹35 crore. He talked on how Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision has led to women’s empowerment, farmers’ prosperity, and industrial progress in the area.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited exhibits of development projects and women’s livelihood items to encourage the participation of public representatives, government officials, and residents. There were a lot of people there, including Social Justice and Empowerment & Horticulture Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha, former MLA Dr. Shishupal Yadav, Smt. Niranjana Jain, District President Rajesh Pateria, and many others.
