MP CM Dr. Mohan Yadav addresses Madhyanchal Utsav 2026 in Delhi, highlights youth empowerment, AI skills, and state achievements under PM Modi.

 Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that Swami Vivekananda’s prophecy that “the 21st century would belong to India” is now coming true under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He highlighted India’s growing global stature, calling PM Modi one of the most influential leaders worldwide and stating that the country is steadily advancing as the world’s youngest democracy under his guidance.

Dr. Yadav said it was a matter of pride that students from across Madhya Pradesh are studying in Delhi in an organised manner, and interacting with them made his visit particularly meaningful. He was addressing the Madhyanchal Utsav-2026, organised by the Madhyanchal Student Association at the Shankarlal Auditorium, University of Delhi, where he inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

The Chief Minister highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s low unemployment rate and assured that the state government is committed to empowering its youth. He stated that the government is focused on creating opportunities so that young people become job creators rather than job seekers, encouraging them to excel in sectors like agriculture, technology, and healthcare, and acquire skills in innovations such as artificial intelligence to contribute to both state and national development.

Sharing details of the state’s achievements, Dr. Yadav noted a significant increase in irrigated areas and announced plans to double the state budget over the next five years. He highlighted efforts to expand medical education through PPP-model colleges to increase the number of doctors and announced a monthly support of ₹5,000 per worker for textile units to boost employment.

Dr. Yadav also underscored Madhya Pradesh’s energy and infrastructure achievements, noting that it is a power-surplus state supplying electricity at the lowest rates in the country, including to the Delhi Metro, with tariffs as low as ₹2.10 per unit. He pointed to rapid progress in mining, leadership in biodiversity, new Shikara services at Bhopal’s Upper Lake, and incentives for investors and youth through film and tourism policies. He congratulated the Madhyanchal Student Association for organising the event and urged students to remain united and actively contribute to the state and nation’s development.

Shri Shyam Tailor, speaking at the event, praised the accelerated pace of Madhya Pradesh’s development under Dr. Yadav, highlighting the Narmada River and Baba Mahakal as key symbols of the state. He described Madhyanchal Utsav as an admirable initiative that reflects the rich art, literature, culture, and civilizational heritage of Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Yadav reaffirmed that the youth of Madhya Pradesh have historically worked with cooperation and avoided divisive thinking.

The event was also addressed by Dr. Rekha Saxena, Head of the Political Science Department, and Shri Anoop Lakhkar, Director of the Delhi University Cultural Council, and was attended by a large number of Madhya Pradesh students studying in Delhi.
