Ujjain hosts historic “Samoohik Vivah” with CM Mohan Yadav’s son marrying alongside 21 couples in a gesture of unity and simplicity.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav solemnized his younger son’s marriage in a mass marriage ceremony performed in Ujjain, setting an example of social care, unity, and simplicity. At the “Samoohik Vivah” occasion, 21 couples had their wedding ceremonies performed by yoga guru Swami Ramdev. According to Swami Ramdev, this is a “Divine wedding” rather than a “Destination wedding.” He claimed that Dr. Yadav is the first Chief Minister to set such an example and described it as an encouraging endeavor for the nation’s wealthy, powerful, and politically connected citizens. According to him, this model can inspire middle-class and lower-middle-class families and lessen wedding extravagance. “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” is reflected in the Chief Minister’s gesture, he stated.

A special environment of equality and warmth was established when Dr. Abhimanyu, the son of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, married Dr. Ishita in the same pandal as other couples from regular households. In addition to congratulating all of the newlyweds on their milestone, Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel commended Dr. Yadav for leading by example in promoting societal peace.

“Weddings in the state are being conducted in accordance with Sanatan traditions,” Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said as he welcomed the guests at the mass marriage venue. The ceremony was attended by couples from all walks of life, including Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes.

All facets of society should support and encourage this endeavor, according to Pandit Shri Dhirendra Shastri, who said that such group, inexpensive marriages should be encouraged. He said that this wedding ceremony is bringing the message of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita to life, with social peace evident beyond any discrimination, and that the nation now needs creative methods of thinking.

Swami Hari Giri Maharaj, the General Secretary of the Akhada Parishad and Chief Patron of Juna Akhada, and Mahant Shri Ravindra Puri Maharaj, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad and Mansa Devi Trust, Haridwar, announced during the event that all newlywed couples would receive ₹1 lakh each. The saints blessed Dr. Abhimanyu and Dr. Ishita as well as the other couples. The culinary arrangements also reflected the humble attitude of “Samoohik Vivah,” which was in line with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s sentiment. All visitors were cordially welcomed by the “Samoohik Vivah Sammelan” Committee organizers. Social workers, the local police, and the administration all contributed to the event’s orderly execution.

The bride and groom were blessed and wished a happy married life by Karnataka Governor Shri Thawarchand Gehlot, Union Ministers for Communications and Development of the North Eastern Region Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia and Shri Durgadas Uike, Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, and numerous Janpratinidhis.
