CM Mohan Yadav orders MP Jal Nigam to expedite water projects, approves 100 MW solar project stake, FY 2025–26 budget, and key proposals at the 25th Board Meeting.
The MP Jal Nigam needs to step up its efforts and finish all ongoing building projects as soon as possible, according to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. He was speaking at the Ministry on Monday at the MP Jal Nigam’s 25th Board Meeting. During the meeting, a number of proposals were approved by the chief minister. Minister of Public Health Engineering, Smt. Also in attendance was Sampatiya Uikey.

The proposal to name PHE Minister Smt. was supported by CM Dr. Yadav. Uikey serves as MP Jal Nigam’s Women’s Director on the Board. Additionally, he gave his approval for the Managing Director to act as Jal Nigam’s representative in the project business established to create a 100 MW captive solar photovoltaic power project that is grid-mounted. According to officials, the Department of New and Renewable Energy is developing the project on about 315 acres in the Mandsaur area.
The plan for MP Jal Nigam (Limited) to own a 26 percent equity stake in the business working on the 100 MW solar photovoltaic project in captive mode was also authorized by the chief minister.
The corporation’s 2025–2026 fiscal year budget was authorized by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Additionally, he gave post-facto permission for the appointment of a firm chosen by the CAG as the statutory auditor for 2024–2025 and accepted the proposal for the unaudited annual accounts for 2023–2024.

Principal Secretary (Health) Shri Sandeep Yadav, Jal Nigam personnel, including Shri Kolsani, Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretaries Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, and Shri Manish Rastogi, as well as other corporation officials, attended the meeting.
