CM Mohan Yadav Announces Major Development Push for Bundelkhand at Ladli Behna Sammelan

CM Mohan Yadav announces new colleges, a 5-star hotel, industrial park, and ₹510 crore projects for Bundelkhand while crediting the Ladli Behna Yojana for women’s progress.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Bundelkhand is a land of diamonds and warriors, renowned for its sacred sanctuaries and spiritual heritage. He stated that during the rule of Maharaja Chhatrasal, Bundelkhand experienced significant victories. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave tribute to the bravery of Maharaja Chhatrasal. He further stated that the statues of Maharaja Chhatrasal and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel have been unveiled in Khajuraho. The Chief Minister delivered a speech at the ‘Ladli Behna Sammelan’ held in Rajnagar, Chhatarpur.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that today, over 1.26 crore ‘Ladli Bahanas’ have received a total of ₹1,857 crore. This encompasses more than 3 lakh 24 thousand ‘Ladli Bahanas’ within the Chhatarpur district. Ladli Bahanas received ₹1,500 each as the 31st installment, directly credited to their bank accounts. He reported that, under the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, a total sum of ₹46,500 crore has been disbursed to date. Women are now making increasingly significant contributions to the well-being of the family. With the blessings of these females, the state government is persistently progressing development initiatives. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, permanent housing is being provided to women, and Ujjwala gas connections are likewise being distributed.

For the comprehensive development of Bundelkhand, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated Bhoomi-Poojan ceremonies for nine development projects valued at ₹270 crore and inaugurated twenty accomplished projects totaling ₹240 crore. These comprise two Sandipani colleges and multiple healthcare facilities. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav proclaimed the development of a prominent convention center and a five-star hotel in Khajuraho. Rajnagar is also acquiring the Rajgarh Palace as a heritage asset, which will provide renewed impetus for the advancement of tourism. Four medical colleges shall be established in Damoh, Chhatarpur, Panna, and Katni. The Ken–Betwa Link Project will deliver sufficient irrigation water to the cultivators of the region. He also announced that a four-lane roadway linking two National Highways will be constructed in the near future between Damoh and Sagar.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced that a new industrial park will be established in Sagar, generating employment opportunities for over 30,000 individuals. During the Ladli Behna Conference, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also allocated benefits to recipients of various government schemes.

Khajuraho, MP Shri V.D. Sharma stated that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is leaving no stone unattended in the pursuit of comprehensive development for Bundelkhand. The state government fulfills each of its commitments. He stated that the government has decided to deposit ₹3,000 per month into the accounts of ‘Ladli Bahanas,’ and ongoing measures are being implemented to support this initiative. Rajnagar MLA Shri Arvind Pateria stated that by convening a ‘Destination Cabinet’ meeting in Bundelkhand, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has bestowed a remarkable gift upon the region. Over the past two years, substantial developmental projects have been carried out in Khajuraho. Today, the drought-affected and underdeveloped region of Bundelkhand is establishing a new identity through accelerated progress.

Lalita Yadav, MLA Shri Kamakhya Pratap Singh, MLA Shri Rajesh Shukla, District Panchayat President Smt. Vidya Agnihotri, and other public representatives participated in the conference.
