CM Dr. Mohan Yadav Inaugurates Mahabharat Samagam, Highlights India’s Heritage and Gita Teachings

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurates Mahabharat Samagam at Bharat Bhavan, promotes Indian heritage, Gita knowledge competitions, and youth awards.

Dr. Mohan Yadav, the chief minister, said Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is adamant about moving the country forward, step by step, from heritage to development. He said that the Prime Minister has raised India’s profile internationally and is constantly working to promote Indian culture. As a symbol of India’s spiritual legacy, he said, the Prime Minister shows the revered Shrimad Bhagavad Gita to foreign heads of state when they come to India.

Veer Bharat Nyas organized the Mahabharat Samagam, which was officially opened by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav at Bharat Bhavan. On the open grand stage, Maitreyi Pahadi and her fellow performers gave a stirring cultural show to kick off the nine-day celebration, spreading a message of justice and peace throughout the world. According to the Chief Minister, the occasion provides a unique chance to see the nation’s first and biggest-ever intellectual and cultural gathering focused on the epic Mahabharata, the great tale of battle, morality, and generosity of global civilizations. Attending the Mahabharat Samagam, he said, is like going back in time to see the events of the epic. He claimed that the painters had given their characters a great deal of life, resulting in a remarkably authentic story. He continued by saying that similar talks would be held on important occasions like Madhya Pradesh’s Foundation Day. With the addition of theater companies from Indonesia and other nations, Veer Bharat Nyas is a noteworthy intellectual and cultural endeavor that will motivate generations to come.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that contemplating the periods of the Ramayana and Mahabharata is the finest way to understand India. He claimed that although the memory of centuries of attempts to eradicate Indian civilization are sad, India’s charity and tolerance stand out as something special. He continued by saying that this adaptability and generosity have allowed Indian civilization to achieve a unique position in history. India has consistently risen stronger even in the face of the most trying conditions, despite the fact that many civilizations have come and gone over time.

Youth Choosing Knowledge, Action, and Devotion as Their Paths In the Gita

According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, state-level Gita recitation competitions were held in conjunction with Veer Bharat Nyas’ Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Knowledge Competition on the occasion of Gita Jayanti. The fact that so many young people took part pleased him, and he pointed out that their efforts had helped thousands of pupils preserve the Gita. Young people are becoming more aware of the Gita’s teachings on knowledge, action, and devotion, he claimed. Of the 88 honorees, the Chief Minister gave awards to a number of the winners. Cash prizes, laptops, e-rickshaws, and e-bikes were among the ₹90 lakh in prizes that were given out. Sushri Himanshi Mishra, who received a ₹1 lakh reward, spoke with the Chief Minister. When asked how she learned to recite the Gita, she replied that her parents served as an inspiration. Additionally, monetary rewards were given to Govind Singh of Chhindwara, Manya Bhatnagar of Gwalior, and Diksha Singh of Raisen.

The event was formally opened by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, who played a traditional musical instrument. Additionally, he launched the periodical Bhooli-Bisri Sabhyatayein and published the magazine and website of Shri Krishna Pathey Nyas. Memorabilia was given to the attendees by Shri Ram Tiwari, Trustee Secretary of Veer Bharat Nyas.

MLA Shri Vishnu Khatri, Veer Bharat Nyas Trustee Secretary Shri Ram Tiwari, Director of Culture Shri N. P. Namdev, Chancellor of Tagore University Shri Santosh Chaubey, Vice-Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism Shri Vijay Mohan Tiwari, Shri Mukesh Mishra, and a number of other dignitaries were in attendance.
