Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav praised PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana as a game-changer for agriculture, highlighting farmer support and new development initiatives.

According to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana will serve as a groundbreaking initiative for agricultural development. Dr. Yadav participated in the ‘Annadata ka Samman, Samriddh Rashtra ka Nirman’ program, which was organized by the Union Ministry of Agriculture in Delhi, virtually from Indore on Saturday. The event was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also virtually inaugurated the state-of-the-art milk powder facility in Indore, which has a capacity of 3 million tonnes. He characterized the initiative to establish a connection between cooperative societies in Indore, Gwalior, and other locations and PACS as historic. These initiatives for Madhya Pradesh were the subject of Dr. Yadav’s gratitude to the Prime Minister.

Dr. Yadav participated in the program virtually from the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore. Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Union Agriculture Minister, also delivered a speech from Delhi. Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Minister of State for Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Shri Lakhan Patel, Shri Madhu Verma, Shri Ramesh Mendola, Shri Manoj Patel, and Shri Sawan Sonkar, Chairman of the Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation, were in attendance at the event.

In addition to Shri Sumit Mishra, there are numerous cultivators.

Dr. Yadav informed media representatives following the program that the Prime Minister has unveiled two significant initiatives for farmers throughout the nation: the PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Mission for Self-Reliance Pulses Production. Dr. Yadav asserted that the PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana will result in significant transformations in the agricultural sector and related industries. Additionally, he disclosed that fifty lakh farmers have been registered as members of 10,000 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) thus far.

Dr. Yadav emphasized that the National Rural Agriculture Mission has resulted in the certification of 100,000 farmers and 4,275 “Maitri,” the approval of over 10,000 multi-purpose PACS for computerization, and the laying of foundation stones and inaugurations for a variety of projects in dairy, fisheries, livestock, food processing, and other sectors.

The Prime Minister virtually inaugurated the advanced milk powder facility in Indore, which has a capacity of 30 lakh tonnes and a cost of ₹79 crore. Additionally, the Prime Minister connected the cooperative unions of Indore and Gwalior with PACS.

It is important to note that the PM Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Mission for Self-Reliance Pulses Production will complement initiatives to increase production in the nation’s 100 low-yield districts and expedite pulse production. The special program encompassed development initiatives in the agricultural and allied sectors that were valued at more than ₹42,000 crore. These will not only help farmers achieve prosperity but also assist the country in achieving self-reliance in agricultural output.

Shri Kailash Jirati, Shri Ghanshyam Patidar, Shri Gajanan, Shri Vasudev Patidar, and numerous other cultivators of Indore district extended a cordial welcome and expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
