Walmart Vriddhi MSME Connect 2025 in Haryana empowers local businesses with training, mentorship, digital tools, and market access through Flipkart and Walmart.

In Panipat, Haryana, Walmart Vriddhi organized the Walmart Vriddhi MSME Connect 2025 in collaboration with the Ideas to Impact Foundation and the state’s Directorate of MSME.

Government officials, business leaders, and industry participants gathered at the event to support MSME growth and highlight prospects under the Walmart Vriddhi Supplier Development Program.

Export-oriented clusters such as textiles, home furnishings, handlooms, handicrafts, food processing, leather, and footwear are the focus of the project, which aims to provide MSMEs with digital, operational, and market preparation capabilities.

Walmart Vriddhi is also reaching out to hisar, Rohtak, Faridabad, and Gurugram’s MSME centers.

With the help of Flipkart’s vast eCommerce ecosystem and Walmart’s worldwide supply chain experience, Walmart Vriddhi provides MSMEs with free business support, training, and mentorship in areas such as marketing, workforce management, finance, and logistics.

Initiated in 2019, the initiative facilitates the modernization and expansion of MSME.

In order to facilitate local firms’ access to the Flipkart and Walmart online marketplaces, it formally signed an MOU with the Haryana government earlier this year.

The program has helped over 70,000 MSMEs in India so far, and by 2028, it hopes to empower an additional 100,000 business owners.

According to Sushil Sarwan, Deputy Commissioner, Government of Haryana, Sonipat, the state is still dedicated to bolstering the MSME ecosystem. He also mentioned that programs like the PADMA plan are meant to improve company infrastructure and competitiveness.

Programs like Walmart Vriddhi support the state’s efforts by assisting entrepreneurs in modernizing their operations, embracing digital practices, and broadening their market reach, which helps to contribute to Haryana’s MSME growth narrative, according to Dheeraj Chahal, HCS, Joint Director (MSME), Government of Haryana.

“At Walmart, our goal is to empower MSMEs in India,” stated Jason Fremstad, Senior Vice President, Supplier Development. “We want to give entrepreneurs the education, resources, and market access they need to grow in the fast-paced business world of today through Walmart Vriddhi.”
