Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini honors Sant Namdev Ji Maharaj in Hisar, announces ₹51 lakh grant and plans to name an institution after the revered saint.

Under the “Sant-Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasar Yojana,” a program of the Haryana government that aims to disseminate the teachings of saints and notable individuals, a state-level event honoring Sant Namdev Ji Maharaj was held in Hisar today. The event, which took place on the campus of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology in Hisar, included principal Minister Nayab Singh Saini as the principal guest.

According to the Chief Minister, Sant Namdev Ji’s life exemplifies equality, love, and dedication. He sought to eradicate inequality, discrimination, and untouchability in order to bring society together.

In response to community requests, the Chief Minister said that a government institution in the state will bear Sant Namdev Ji Maharaj’s name on this occasion. A grant of Rs 51 lakh was also announced by him for the installation of solar panels and maintenance of different community-run dharamshalas. If the community requests for plots in Bhiwani, Panipat, and Narnaul, he added, land will be distributed in accordance with protocols. The Chief Minister added that the relevant departments would be tasked with implementing any further demands.

The Chief Minister claimed that Sant Namdev Ji believed in the divinity of every person and dedicated his life to eradicating social ills like inequity, casteism, and untouchability. True religion, he claimed, fosters human connection and teaches empathy. He continued by saying that the social fabric of Haryana is firmly anchored in Sant Namdev Ji’s teachings of diligence, devotion, and honesty. His spirit is embodied by the hard labor and dedication of the state’s working class, farmers, artisans, tailors, blacksmiths, and all other hardworking people.

In Haryana, harmony, goodwill, and equitable growth are improving the lives of the average person.

According to the Chief Minister, the State Government has implemented changes that have given the average citizen a simpler, easier, and safer life because of its dedication to harmony, goodwill, equitable growth, unity, and tolerance. To obtain government services, people no longer have to go to several offices. Ordinary folks’ ambitions are becoming a reality in Haryana today, and their hopes and aspirations are being realized. Motivated by the teachings of notable figures and saints, the State Government is committed to promoting the well-being and advancement of all societal segments. Raising the level of living for the poorest is its main goal, making sure that everyone benefits from development.
