PM Modi releases 21st PM-KISAN installment; Rs 316.38 crore credited to 15.82 lakh Haryana farmers, boosting digital empowerment and prosperity.
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana’s 21st installment was released today by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi into the accounts of farmers nationwide, starting in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This time, 15.82 lakh farmers in Haryana received a direct payment of Rs 316.38 crore into their accounts.
Haryana prominent Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini was the prominent guest at a state-level event held in the Palwal district. Members of Parliament, State Ministers, and Cabinet Ministers attended similar events in every district. During the proceedings, the prime minister’s speech was aired live.
The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of the farmers in the state, stating that 74,299 farmers in the Palwal district now get Rs 14.86 crore credited to their bank accounts. Haryana farmers have received a total of Rs 7,233.74 crore in payments under the PM-KISAN scheme as of this 21st installment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is constantly striving to empower farmers and increase their prosperity, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said in his speech. He called on farmers to go beyond conventional farming, concentrate on value-added products, set up farm processing facilities, embrace the farm-to-fork approach, and encourage branding and agritourism.
By 2047, farmers will be digitally empowered and self-sufficient.
According to Nayab Singh Saini, Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi has highlighted four essential pillars—farmers, the impoverished, women, and youth—in order to realize the goal of a prosperous India by 2047. He emphasized that the first pillar, the prosperity of farmers, is essential to achieving this goal. Haryana is constantly striving to guarantee farmers’ well-being and turn agriculture into a lucrative industry in order to do this. The objective of a “Developed India – Developed Haryana” is being rapidly attained by Haryana under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

By 2047, when India commemorates the centennial of its independence, he continued, farmers will be self-sufficient, environmentally and water-conscious, digitally savvy, linked to international markets, and a hub for premium, branded produce.
The Chief Minister stated that farmers are now at the forefront of national policy under the Prime Minister’s direction, citing the numerous programs put in place for their wellbeing. In order to increase fruit and vegetable growth, the government is supporting horticulture crops as an alternative to traditional crops, even as it encourages natural farming. According to him, the Stubble Incentive Scheme now offers an incentive worth Rs 1,200 per acre instead of Rs 1,000. Over the past 11 years, about 30,000 farmers have received direct bank account transfers of support worth Rs 135 crore under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana, which was created to shield horticulture farmers from market swings.
The Chief Minister added that Haryana is the only state in India where the government purchases all commodities at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and pays farmers within 48 hours. He continued by saying that young people today are embracing farming as an innovative and entrepreneurial endeavor, and that farmers can now swiftly, simply, and transparently obtain scheme benefits thanks to digital data systems.

Speaking at the ceremony, Haryana Public Works Minister Ranbir Gangwa stated that the Prime Minister had deposited crores of rupees into farmers’ accounts today as the 21st installment. Farmers are given financial aid of Rs 6,000 annually under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana. He added that several important programs are being put into place for the benefit of farmers nationwide under the Prime Minister’s direction, allowing them to directly profit from them.
