Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Hails PM Modi for Naming Adampur Airport after Guru Ravidas Ji

CM Saini praises PM Modi for honoring Guru Ravidas Ji and highlights the inclusive Union Budget benefiting farmers, youth, and women.

Haryana: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for naming Punjab’s Adampur Airport as “Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji Airport.” Speaking at Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi on Monday, Saini called the decision historic and a true tribute to the ideals of Guru Ravidas Ji, whose teachings of equality, compassion, and service continue to inspire society. He said the move will encourage future generations to draw inspiration from the saint’s message and reflects the nation’s recognition of great personalities who have guided society.

The Nayab Singh Saini highlighted that PM Modi has been naming major institutions after saints and historical figures, citing examples such as Ayodhya Airport (Maharishi Valmiki) and Hisar Airport (Maharaja Agrasen).

Commenting on the Union Budget, Nayab Singh Saini said it addresses all sections of society, with special focus on Haryana. He noted measures for waterlogged and salinity-affected land, MSMEs, industry, and AI, which will benefit the state. The budget,Nayab Singh Saini  added, empowers women, strengthens farmers, and provides employment opportunities for youth. Criticizing the Congress, he said previous governments failed to present such inclusive budgets.

On Punjab politics, Nayab Singh Saini asserted that under PM Modi’s leadership, a BJP government will be formed, claiming the Congress and AAP have only given false promises. He also mentioned recent flood losses to farmers in Punjab and lauded the central government’s ₹16,000 crore assistance package for affected farmers.
