Haryana : Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has termed the Union Budget presented in Parliament as a historic and forward-looking blueprint that strengthens India’s vision of becoming a developed nation. He said the budget reflects a strong commitment to public welfare and inclusive growth, and will significantly accelerate Haryana’s progress across key sectors including industry, infrastructure, MSMEs, bio-pharma, healthcare, rural enterprises, agriculture, and sports.

The Nayab Singh Saini noted that the budget is anchored in three core pillars—Speed, Capacity, and Inclusive Growth. According to him, “Speed” focuses on driving faster economic expansion through higher productivity, “Capacity” aims at equipping people with better skills to actively contribute to national development, while “Inclusive Growth” ensures that the benefits of progress reach every family and region. He described the budget as a major milestone toward building a self-reliant and developed India.

For the financial year 2027, the record capital expenditure of ₹12.2 lakh crore and the plan to develop City Economic Regions are expected to provide a strong boost to Haryana’s major industrial centres such as Faridabad, Gurugram, and Panipat. The ₹10,000 crore allocation for the MSME sector, he said, will open up large-scale employment opportunities for the state’s youth.

CM Nayab Singh Saini further highlighted that the budget reinforces initiatives like the Khelo India Mission and the development of 15 archaeological sites, which will help bring global recognition to Haryana’s rich heritage, including the historic site of Rakhigarhi. Investments in Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Missions are set to further strengthen Gurugram’s status as an emerging global technology hub. He added that the Digital Agriculture Mission will play a crucial role in enhancing farmers’ income.

The budget’s focus on startups and the expansion of the Fund of Funds scheme will create new avenues for innovation and entrepreneurship among young people. Special emphasis on women’s skill development and schemes such as “Lakhpati Didi” will promote economic empowerment of women in Haryana.

Additionally, provisions for textile parks, seven high-speed rail corridors, and the development of Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, backed by an allocation of ₹11.4 lakh crore, will drive balanced regional growth. Programs like One District–One Product are also expected to give a major push to local industries.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the Haryana government is fully committed to effective implementation of the budget’s provisions to ensure that its benefits reach every citizen.
