LPG Supply in Haryana Normal, No Shortage Says Minister Rajesh Nagar

Haryana’s Minister Rajesh Nagar assures citizens that domestic LPG supply in Haryana is normal, with sufficient stocks and strict action against black marketing.

Haryana’s Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, Rajesh Nagar, has assured citizens that there is no shortage of domestic LPG supply in Haryana and emphasized that there is no need to panic.

Government Actions Against Black Marketing

The minister stated that any irregularities related to LPG supply in Haryana are being addressed immediately. He confirmed that the situation regarding domestic LPG cylinders in the state is normal, and citizens should remain assured of uninterrupted access.

To curb black marketing and illegal use of LPG cylinders, the government has taken strict action. So far, 8 FIRs have been registered, 52 individuals have been found involved, and 825 cylinders have been seized. Minister Nagar emphasized the government’s zero-tolerance approach toward misuse of LPG cylinders and warned that strict action will be taken against those spreading rumors, especially amid international tensions.

Cylinder Seizures Across Districts

According to a department spokesperson, of the 825 domestic LPG cylinders seized:

  • Jhajjar – 131
  • Mahendragarh – 109
  • Ambala – 86
  • Bhiwani – 21
  • Faridabad – 2
  • Fatehabad – 71
  • Gurugram – 75
  • Hisar – 39
  • Jind – 17
  • Kaithal – 10
  • Karnal – 44
  • Kurukshetra – 21
  • Nuh – 16
  • Panipat – 23
  • Rewari – 21
  • Rohtak – 98
  • Sirsa – 12
  • Sonipat – 12
  • Yamunanagar – 17

The spokesperson also added that 7 FIRs were registered in Faridabad and 1 in Sonipat, while three vehicles were seized during the crackdown.

Current LPG Stocks and Distribution

In the past six days, oil marketing companies have supplied 61,034 domestic LPG cylinders of 14.2 kg, and current stock at bottling plants stands at 982,212 cylinders. Regarding commercial LPG, 848 cylinders of 19 kg have been supplied in the last 25 days, with 179,566 cylinders currently in stock.

Major oil companies, including Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), have sufficient stock to ensure smooth supply. Minister Nagar reiterated that the supply of petrol, diesel, and domestic LPG in Haryana is running normally.

With proactive monitoring and strict enforcement against black marketing, the LPG supply in Haryana remains stable and uninterrupted. Citizens are advised to remain calm, as both domestic and commercial LPG, along with other fuels, continue to be available across the state.
