Join 70 lakh devotees at Kurukshetra’s International Gita Mahotsav 2025. PM Modi & Rajnath Singh to lead key events Nov 24-25.
In Kurukshetra, Haryana, a number of distinguished individuals from all around the nation are taking part in the current International Gita Mahotsav 2025. On November 24, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will open the Haryana Pavilion that has been constructed for the International Gita Mahotsav. PM Narendra Modi will arrive the next day, November 25, to take part in the Maha Aarti. It is anticipated that around 70 lakh people would attend the International Gita Mahotsav this year, since public engagement in the event is growing.
The International Gita Mahotsav has been taking place in Kurukshetra since November 15, according to a government official. In 50 countries, Gita Mahotsav festivities are being held with the Ministry of External Affairs’ assistance. Madhya Pradesh has been included as a partner state this time.

He announced that Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Sadan, Kurukshetra University, will host a three-day International Gita Seminar on November 24. The whole city is being decked out in lights to make the celebration spectacular and unforgettable. Additionally, the entire city is undergoing a big sanitation campaign.
He added that on November 25, PM Modi will take part in an event held in Jyotisar to commemorate Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th martyrdom day. In Jyotisar, a massive pandal has been erected over 155 acres. Approximately 1.5 lakh devotees from all over the state are anticipated to attend the event. Every significant crossroads in Kurukshetra is being built around the Mahabharata concept. Additionally, work is being done to add ornamental lighting to all of the city’s temples.
