Haryana Welfare Schemes DBT Transfer Boosts Welfare Delivery, Benefits Reach Over 50 Lakh Families

Haryana Government transfers over ₹1,582 crore under 19 welfare schemes through DBT, benefiting 50.20 lakh families across the state.

The Haryana Government has transferred more than ₹1,582 crore in benefit amounts to the bank accounts of 50.20 lakh families across the state under various public welfare schemes. The information was shared by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on X.

The initiative highlights the government’s focus on transparent governance and ensuring that financial assistance reaches eligible beneficiaries directly without delays.

Direct Benefit Transfer Ensures Transparency

Under the Haryana Welfare Schemes DBT Transfer, benefits from 19 different public welfare programmes were directly transferred to beneficiaries through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

The financial assistance included payments under 15 social security pension schemes, Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, Dayalu Yojana, Har Ghar-Har Grihini Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin).

Benefits Reach Lakhs of Families Across Haryana

According to the information shared by CM Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana Welfare Schemes DBT Transfer aims to strengthen the delivery system of government schemes by reducing middlemen and ensuring that benefits reach citizens directly.

The government said the direct transfer mechanism helps improve accountability while making welfare programmes more effective for families in need.

Focus on Good Governance and Public Welfare

The Haryana Government stated that it is committed to expanding the reach of welfare initiatives and ensuring that every eligible family receives the benefits of government schemes.

The Haryana Welfare Schemes DBT Transfer is being presented as a step towards transparent administration and citizen-centric governance.

The government further said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, efforts are continuing to improve the implementation of public welfare programmes and provide timely financial support to beneficiaries across the state.
