Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij takes strict cognizance after two women die in tractor-trolley collision with roadways bus in Sirsa

Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said today that a committee will be formed to investigate accidents involving Haryana Roadways buses. The committee will include technical experts as well as police investigation officers.

Taking strict cognizance of the recent incident in Sirsa, where two women lost their lives after a Haryana Roadways bus collided with a tractor-trolley, Sh. Anil Vij directed the Additional Chief Secretary, Transport Department to carry out a detailed inquiry in the matter.

Sh.Vij directed that a practice should be set in the future to investigate accidents involving Roadways buses, ensuring that appropriate action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in the investigation.

He further said that every accident involving a Haryana Roadways bus will be thoroughly investigated. A committee will be formed in such cases, comprising technical officers and police investigation officers, to determine who was at fault. If it is found that Haryana Roadways drivers were driving negligently, strict action will be taken against them.
