Haryana Energy Minister Anil Vij promises robust budget, secures coal linkage for Khedar unit, and details power upgrades across the state.

Haryana’s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Anil Vij, stated that the forthcoming budget will be robust and meet the expectations of the people. Commenting on the state’s law and order situation, he said the government is fulfilling its responsibilities completely. He also highlighted that strengthening the power infrastructure is a key priority to provide consumers with uninterrupted and high-quality electricity. Vij made these remarks while responding to questions from the media in New Delhi.

Vij joked that Congress had departed politics and started an astrologer’s shop in response to a question about their remark on the state’s debt issue. He stated that all parties are being consulted and that the budget is still being prepared. A very robust budget will be presented, and the Chief Minister himself is meeting with all departments in this regard.

In response to a query about law and order, he stated that approximately 5,000 anti-social individuals have been imprisoned in order to uphold law and order. This demonstrates unequivocally that the government is carrying out its duties.

In response to a query concerning his meeting with Union Energy Minister Sh. Manohar Lal, Vij stated that talks were held today regarding the growth of the energy sector in order to ensure that the state’s citizens receive the advantages of energy-related programs along with assistance from the federal government. He reaffirmed that enhancing the power infrastructure is essential to guaranteeing consumers a consistent and high-quality supply of electricity.

Large-scale transformer and conductor upgrades are now in progress.

According to him, there is now no issue in the winter or mismatch between supply and demand because the electricity supply has already been guaranteed over the summer. According to Vij, the state is upgrading its conductors and transformers as needed, with major upgrades taking place in Faridabad and Gurugram.

The Khedar unit in Hisar has been given coal linkage by the Central Government: Vij*

In response to a query concerning the distribution of a new coal connectivity to Haryana, Vij stated that obtaining a coal block is crucial for the establishment of any new thermal plant or unit. He said that 800 MW units would be erected in Panipat and Khedar, Hisar, and that the Central Government had just granted the Khedar unit in Hisar a coal linkage. Work on the new plant at Khedar will proceed more quickly thanks to this allocation. Additionally, development on a new 800 MW unit in Yamunanagar is underway, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi laying the foundation stone.

Parties cannot defend the nation’s democracy if they lack internal democracy.

In response to a query about the election of the BJP’s national president, he stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party is the only political party in the nation that holds elections using a legitimate democratic procedure. He claimed that other parties lack democracy because they are dynastic, with leadership shifting from father to son and then to grandson. The nation’s democracy cannot be protected by parties lacking internal democracy. He clarified that the BJP only elects the national president after holding elections at the ward, mandal, district, and state levels. Only the BJP has this mechanism; other parties do not.
