Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao approves new PHCs in Nuh and Mahendragarh, strengthens healthcare infrastructure with GIS mapping and budget plans.

Arti Singh Rao, the health minister for Haryana, has instructed authorities to make sure that the state’s healthcare infrastructure is strengthened in the next general budget. According to her, GIS mapping must be used to guarantee that none of the state’s regions lack health facilities and that all residents receive fair and high-quality medical care.

The Health Minister presided over a high-level gathering of officials in Chandigarh today to discuss budget plans for the departments of medical education and ayush. The meeting included in-depth talks about the state’s health services, current needs, and future goals.

Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Sh. Sudhir Rajpal, Director General of Ayush Sh. Sanjeev Verma, Mission Director of National Health Mission Haryana Sh. Rippudaman Singh Dhillon, Director of Medical Education and Research Sh. Yashender Singh, Director General of Health Services Dr. Manish Bansal, Drs. Kuldeep Singh and Virender Yadav, and other high-ranking officials attended the meeting.

On this occasion, Health Minister Arti Singh Rao announced that the state government has given its consent in principle to turn the Sub-Health Center in the Nuh district’s village of Tain into a Primary Health Center (PHC). Additionally, an expenditure of about ₹36 lakh has been allowed for the hiring of necessary personnel at this health center, which would allow the local population to get better and faster medical care.

The opening of a new primary health center in the Mahendragarh district’s Khatodra village has also been approved. Primary healthcare facilities will be available closer to the residents in the nearby rural areas thanks to this.

Where necessary in the state, the Health Minister instructed officials to make sure that advance budgetary arrangements are made for the launch of new health services. She stated that the government’s top objective is still to improve the healthcare system in isolated and underdeveloped areas.
