Haryana continues to demonstrate robust economic performance, with Haryana GST revenue growth reflecting the state’s strong fiscal health and expanding industrial base. Despite accounting for only 1.34% of India’s geographical area and 2.2% of its population, the state contributes nearly 7.4% to the country’s total GST collection.
Officials highlighted that Haryana GST revenue growth has more than doubled between the financial years 2018-19 and 2024-25, showcasing consistent improvement in tax compliance and economic activity across sectors.
Strong Monthly Performance Boosts Haryana GST Revenue Growth
The state also recorded a 14.66% increase in GST collections in June 2026 compared to June 2025. This upward trend further strengthens Haryana GST revenue growth, placing the state third among major states in monthly GST collections, after Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.

According to Mrs. Ashima Barad, Commissioner and Secretary of the Excise and Taxation Department, the strong performance reflects efficient administration, improved compliance, and expanding business activity contributing to Haryana GST revenue growth.

The continued rise in Haryana GST revenue growth is attributed to the state’s industrial development, improved logistics infrastructure, and investor-friendly policies. These factors have collectively enhanced economic activity and strengthened revenue generation.
