Haryana CM Saini announces a statewide campaign to mark 10 years of the Pragati review, sharing details of major projects and social welfare schemes.
Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, announced that a dedicated awareness campaign will be initiated throughout the state to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Pragati review initiative. The program will distribute detailed information to the public regarding completed projects and social welfare initiatives within the state.
The Chief Minister presided over a review meeting of the Pragati programme. He stated that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi initiated the program in January 2014 to facilitate comprehensive oversight of significant departmental projects alongside social sector schemes.
The Chief Minister announced that a dedicated inspection initiative will be implemented to ensure rigorous enforcement of the PNDT Act and to address the issue of school leavers within the Education Department. No negligence or complacency will be tolerated, he stated, emphasizing that strict measures should be implemented for violations of the PNDT Act and that the causes of withdrawals must be thoroughly investigated and consistently monitored.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini stated that the International Convention Centre, which is being developed by HSVP in Sector 78, Faridabad, is expected to be completed by February 2027. He also mandated the construction of a world-class International Convention Centre in Gurugram to enhance civic amenities.

The Chief Minister additionally emphasized that the progress of work to guarantee electricity and potable water provision for the forthcoming AIIMS in Rewari should be expedited. The power supply is scheduled for completion by September 2026, while the potable water supply via the Diwana Distributary is expected to become operational by March 2027. As a provisional measure, a tubewell-based water supply at Pali is scheduled to commence by April 2026. He further stated that the completion of potable water supply and infrastructure improvements in health facilities across Faridabad, Panipat, Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Jind, Bhiwani, and Mahendragarh is anticipated in the near future.
He stated that the metro connectivity from HUDA City Centre to Cyber City, Gurugram, and the Sarai Kale Khan–Bawal Rapid Rail project are scheduled to commence next year. Likewise, the construction of the main conduit from Vatika Chowk on Sohna Road to Cloverleaf on NH-48 is scheduled for completion by May 2026. Tenders have been issued for a 100-MLD effluent treatment facility at Dhanwapur, Gurugram, which will substantially enhance stormwater drainage.
He stated that to enhance the drinking water supply in Faridabad, twelve Ranney-well tubewells are being constructed; six will be operational by June 2026, and the remaining six before the upcoming summer season. He stated that the nation’s largest logistics center is currently being established at Nangal Chaudhary along the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor, while an additional logistics hub is in development in Hisar.
The Chief Minister announced that the Khetri–Narela and Meerut–Bhiwani transmission lines, along with the Amritsar–Katra Expressway, have been successfully completed within Haryana. Efforts are currently in progress to establish a connection between the Delhi–Katra Expressway extension and UER–Narela (Delhi). He further informed that hostels for working women are under construction in Sector 78, Faridabad, and Sector 9, Gurugram. Comparable dormitories in Panipat, Sonipat, and Rewari are also planned. He instructed that the Panchkula working women’s accommodation be operationalized at the earliest opportunity.
