Haryana adds 9 HSFDC services under Right to Service Act with fixed delivery timelines. Fisheries pond renovation subsidy also included for timely service.

The Haryana Government has made nine services of the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSFDC) part of the Right to Service Act, 2014. This means that there is a set time frame for when they would be delivered.

The Chief Secretary, Sh. Anurag Rastogi, sent out a notice saying that the NSFDC programs have set time constraints of 135 days for the Education Loan and Micro Finance programs and 180 days for the Term Loan Scheme.

The National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation (NSKFDC) covers the Education Loan Scheme, the Mahila Adhikarita Yojana, the Mahila Samridhi Yojana, the Micro Credit Finance Scheme, and the Green Business Scheme. Each of them has a time limit of 135 days. The General Term Loan Scheme has a deadline of 180 days.

The District Manager of the district in question has been named as the person in charge of delivering services for all of the above initiatives. The Senior Accounts Officer at HSFDC will be the First Grievance Redressal Authority, and the Managing Director at HSFDC will be the Second Grievance Redressal Authority. This organized way of dealing with complaints has been put in place to make sure that people get the services they need on time and have a good way to deal with complaints if there are problems or delays.

The Right to Service Act now also covers one of the Fisheries Department’s services. The Subsidy of Renovation of Ponds must be given within 40 days.
