Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the chief minister of Haryana, stated that all reputable organizations that support the state’s health objectives while putting ethics, openness, and public welfare first are welcome in the state. The private sector’s contribution to medical services and diagnostics is crucial for citizens, in addition to a robust public healthcare system.
The Chief Minister was speaking at the Prem Sagar Cardiac Hospital opening ceremony on Swami Vivekananda Jayanti at the “Vivekanand Arogya Kendra,” run by the Bharat Vikas Parishad Maharana Pratap Trust, Gurugram, situated in Sector 12A. The Chief Minister greeted the state’s citizens on Lohri, Makar Sankranti, and Pongal while honoring Swami Vivekananda on his 163rd birthday.
The Haryana government is constantly working to make healthcare more accessible, affordable, and efficient.
The Haryana government has continuously sought to guarantee that all residents of the state have access to reasonably priced, easily accessible, and high-quality healthcare services, according to Sh. Nayab Singh Saini. These grassroots initiatives are being strengthened by organizations such as Vivekanand Arogya Kendra. Modern diagnostic and treatment facilities have been made available to the general public by the state government, motivated by the Prime Minister’s Fit India message. The government has made sure that no underprivileged citizen is denied medical care because of a lack of cash.
To date, the state has issued 1.34 crore cards under the Ayushman Bharat–Chirayu Scheme, resulting in claims totaling Rs. 4,500 crore for the treatment of about 25 lakh patients. Additionally, under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, all senior people over 70 are eligible for free treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh per year; thus far, claims totaling Rs. 53.57 crore have been made for the treatment of 26,513 senior citizens.
