The Haryana Government is using the e-Shram portal to deliver government welfare benefits to workers in a more transparent, efficient, and simplified manner.
Under the e-Shram portal initiative, a total of 54.32 lakh workers in Haryana have been registered so far. In addition, 33.58 lakh workers from around 4.5 lakh establishments in the organized sector are also enrolled on the platform, strengthening the state’s labour database.
Officials highlighted that the e-Shram portal has become a key digital tool for identifying and supporting workers across both organized and unorganized sectors. It ensures better targeting of welfare schemes and reduces procedural delays.

₹1100 Incentive Announced to Boost e-Shram Portal Registration and Expand Social Security Coverage
To encourage more registrations, the government is also providing an incentive of ₹1100 to workers who register on the e-Shram portal. This step aims to bring more unregistered workers into the system and extend social security benefits to them.

The state government stated that the e-Shram portal is helping build a unified and verified database of workers, enabling faster delivery of benefits and improving transparency in welfare schemes.
