Haryana CM Saini holds pre-budget workshop; outlines six-pillar Haryana Vision 2047 for 2026-27, focusing on holistic and inclusive development.

Haryana Vision 2047: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that Haryana will be the growth engine for Developed India-2047. To guarantee that Haryana’s contribution is beneficial to the national interest, work is being done in a structured manner. Haryana Vision Document-2047 was created after considerable consultation, research, and expert input.

On Tuesday, Saini spoke at a pre-budget workshop held at the Gurugram University Auditorium in preparation for Haryana Vision 2047.

Notably, in accordance with the Haryana Vision 2047 plan, the Chief Minister held in-depth discussions on all aspects of the pre-budget consultation meeting with stakeholders from the industry, health, information technology, and education sectors for the fiscal year 2026-27. Representatives from several industrial and manufacturing organizations made suggestions for the forthcoming budget.

The Chief Minister stated that a significant developmental transition has occurred during the last 11 years. Along with favorable reforms, the government is aiming towards holistic development. He stated that the government has established a Department of the Future, which will be effective when global developments emerge. This type of workshop is being held with the intention of conveying information and vision.

Roadmap for development created based on six strategic themes.

The Chief Minister stated that departmental plans must be linked to a clear vision, with an emphasis on outcomes rather than activities. The Haryana government’s top aim is to enhance the lives of its residents. He stated that as a consequence of this significant brainstorming with stakeholders, the Haryana government will play a part in attaining the ambition of Developed India 2047 through six pillars. He stated that the Haryana Vision Document-2047 was created based on six key concepts. These include finance and security, education, skill development and employability, health and nutrition, agriculture, food security, and environmental protection, infrastructure development, and programs focused on regional development and local self-government. The Chief Minister stated that the budget for fiscal year 2026-27 will be entirely aligned with all of these issues.

Senior executives presented theme-based speeches during pre-budget deliberations.

Under the Haryana Vision 2047 plan, the pre-budget deliberation workshop included in-depth talks on numerous theme spotlights aimed at making the state developed, inclusive, and self-sufficient by 2047. Sh. Sudhir Rajpal, Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Haryana Government, gave a presentation on health and nutrition at the programme. Sh. Vineet Garg, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher and School Education Department, discussed education, skill development, and employment. Similarly, Sh. A.K. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Town & Country Planning and Urban Estates Department, spoke about regional development and local self-governance. Sh. Pankaj Agarwal, Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department, presented a talk about agriculture, allied sectors, food, and the environment. Sh. Mohammed Shayin, Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department, delivered a presentation on finance and security, informing the participants of the specifics.
