At India International Research Festival, CM Saini emphasizes science as nation-building, urges STEM, AI, biotech, and agri-tech innovation for Haryana’s growth.

During the second day of the 11th India International research Festival, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini urged scientists to use research outside of labs and make sure that all citizens can profit from it. According to him, science leads to real wealth when it boosts food yields for farmers, treats illnesses, and gives entrepreneurs more power.

The Students Science and Technology Village, also known as the “New Nalanda of Modern India,” was opened by Chief Minister Saini during the occasion. He exhibited a strong interest in the newest developments when he visited the scientific display as well.

Science is a tool for nation-building, not just a career choice, CM Saini underlined. Speaking to scientists, students, and young people, he challenged them to create science-based development models that will improve India’s standing as a worldwide leader and guarantee a high standard of living for all citizens.

Despite being a predominantly agricultural state, Haryana is quickly becoming a hub for innovation, education, and research, he continued. STEM education, AI, robotics, cybersecurity, agri-tech, biotech, and space technology are all being given top priority by the government. Cities like Hisar, Panchkula, Faridabad, and Gurugram are becoming as important centers for IT and research.

Additionally, CM Saini emphasized government programs aimed at promoting science education, such as the Science Talent Search scholarship program, the Haryana Science Ratna and Haryana Young Science Ratna awards for young scientists, and prizes for international science Olympiad triumphants.

Attendees included students, researchers, corporate representatives, and scientists from national institutions.
