Haryana launches Home Department Dashboard, integrating police, emergency, prisons, and forensics for real-time crime tracking and public safety.
The Home Department Dashboard, a comprehensive digital platform that promises to transform public safety management, emergency response, and law enforcement throughout the state, was unveiled today by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
The new system would allow senior officers to access real-time information from police, fire, ambulance, prison, and other vital wings on a single interface, the Chief Minister said, calling the project a significant milestone. He pointed out that this will facilitate quicker decision-making throughout the Home Department, increase efficiency, and improve coordination. Saini commended the technological team, the Home Secretary, and other high-ranking officials for their creative endeavor.
Important systems including the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS), Dial-112 emergency response, e-Prison, e-Challan, Forensic Science Laboratory, and related platforms are brought together by the integrated platform. Officers were also instructed by the chief minister to incorporate e-Summon and e-Challan into the dashboard.

The Chief Minister praised the dashboard’s real-time, live surveillance of all 20 Haryana jails. Officers will be able to plan decongestion strategies, growth needs, and inmate transfers thanks to this. Such real-time visibility will enable more timely and informed administrative measures, according to the Chief Minister.
Dr. Sumita Misra, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, reported during the meeting that the Dashboard had recorded 1,78,038 FIRs between July 1, 2024, and November 30, 2025, of which 1,32,790 cases had been resolved, representing a 74.58% disposal rate. The police now respond to emergencies on average in 11 minutes 54 seconds, with dispatch taking place in 7 minutes 36 seconds. She said, “Ambulance services are reaching citizens in an average of 23 minutes and 49 seconds, which contributes to faster medical assistance and better outcomes.”
According to Dr. Sumita Misra, all department heads within the Home Department and the Administration of Justice would soon have access to the dashboard. In order to facilitate smooth data exchange between law enforcement, prosecutors, the courts, prisons, and forensics, plans are also in progress to incorporate the Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS).
According to Dr. Misra, the platform would make it easier to rate police stations based on performance, enhancing accountability and promoting ongoing development. The Dashboard intends to function as a complete decision-support system for tracking crime patterns, promoting departmental cooperation, and boosting public safety throughout the state. It will also be driven by real-time data from all 24 Police Districts and 413 Police Stations.
