Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini participated in the Ambedkar Phule Jayanti celebration held at the Haryana Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh. The event marked the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and social reformer Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, drawing a large gathering of dignitaries and citizens.
During the Ambedkar Phule Jayanti celebration, Nayab Saini extended greetings to all attendees and expressed pride in being part of the program. He highlighted the significance of the occasion in honoring two great personalities who shaped India’s social and constitutional framework.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the Ambedkar Phule Jayanti celebration is a reminder of the contributions made by Dr. Ambedkar and Mahatma Phule towards education, equality, justice, and social harmony.

He added that both leaders dedicated their lives to uplifting marginalized and deprived sections of society, including women, and their ideals continue to guide the nation.
Government Commitment to Social Justice
Speaking further at the Ambedkar Phule Jayanti celebration, Nayab Saini said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is actively working for the empowerment of weaker sections.

He mentioned key initiatives such as reservation for Scheduled Castes, political representation for backward classes, 50% women’s reservation in Panchayati Raj institutions, and scholarship programs for students.
