Haryana government announces age relaxation for former Agniveers: 3 years for all, 5 years for first-batch veterans, giving them fair recruitment opportunities.

A significant decision has been made by the Haryana administration of Naib Singh Saini. After returning from military service, the government has decided to lower the upper age limit for direct recruitment of former Agniveers who are state natives. Anurag Rastogi, the chief secretary, has released a notification in this regard.

The administration of Naib Singh Saini has decided to offer the erstwhile Agniveers a three-year relaxation in the upper age limit that was set at the time of direct recruitment for Group-B and C positions. Additionally, five years of age relaxation will be granted to the former Agniveers of the first batch. All boards, departments, businesses, academic institutions, and sector offices have been instructed to make sure that these directives are followed.

According to a formal letter from Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Agniveer, a Haryana citizen, will receive relief in the higher age limit upon the completion of military service.

Every department, board, company, university, and regional office in Haryana would be subject to the directive. To ensure that every qualified Agniveer receives his just compensation, the government has instructed all departments to apply this ruling rigorously and truthfully.

Thus far, 7,228 Agniveers have been enlisted in Haryana. Among them are 2,227 from the first batch, 2,893 from the second, and 2,108 from the third. The first wave of 2,227 Agniveers will receive a five-year age relaxation, as the administration has made plain.
