CM Nayab Singh Saini celebrates Gita Jayanti with Deepotsav at Sannihit Sarovar, spreading Bhagavad Gita’s teachings and lighting thousands of lamps.

On the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti, Aryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini stated that it is a moment of great pleasure to celebrate Deepotsav on the banks of the historic and old Sannihit Sarovar. He declared that via this Deepotsav, the light of the holy teachings of the Bhagavad Gita will reach every person on the planet, enhancing and elevating humanity.

Speaking at the International Gita Mahotsav-2025 on Monday, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has just offered Deepdaan at Sannihit Sarovar.

at the past, on the sacred festival of Gita Jayanti, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Gita scholar Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj, Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, and previous Minister Subhash Sudha performed Deepdaan at Sannihit Sarovar to the music of conch shells and the echo of Vedic chanting.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini was greeted warmly by numerous religious and social groups as he arrived at the Deepdaan event.

Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini sent out greetings and best wishes for the International Gita Mahotsav, saying that it is a great day for the globe as a whole, not only for us. Lord Shri Krishna brought the Gita’s teachings to the holy city of Kurukshetra. We are joyfully and enthusiastically commemorating the International Gita Mahotsav today. Everyone’s life will become progressive and enlightened after reading the Gita. Additionally, he expressed his appreciation and best wishes to the Tirthodgaar Brahmin Mahasabha office-bearers for planning such a magnificent Deepdaan ceremony.

He also thanked several organizations for lighting thousands of lamps along the banks of Brahma Sarovar and wished them well.

This time, a number of dignitaries were in attendance, including Chairman Dharamveer Mirzapur, Zila Parishad Chairperson Kanwaljit Kaur, and KDB Honorary Secretary Upender Singhal.
