New Delhi: The Haryana government has placed strong emphasis on maintaining uninterrupted drinking water supply in Haryana, with Chief Minister Nayab Saini directing officials to ensure that all regions receive adequate water during the peak summer season.
In a recent review meeting, the Chief Minister instructed departments to maintain proper water levels in tanks, ponds, and reservoirs, ensuring that no area faces shortage. He stressed that access to safe drinking water is a basic necessity and must be guaranteed on a priority basis across the state.
Focus on Drinking Water Supply in Haryana During Summer
With rising temperatures increasing water demand, the Chief Minister asked officials to strengthen distribution systems and closely monitor supply networks. Where required, additional water tankers will be deployed to ensure that even remote or vulnerable areas do not face shortages.
