Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini attended the Khadi Employment Festival in Bhiwani as the chief guest and emphasized the growing importance of Khadi and village industries in generating large-scale employment opportunities across India.
The Khadi Employment Festival showcased the government’s efforts to strengthen rural entrepreneurship, promote Swadeshi products, and expand self-reliant economic models in both rural and urban markets.

Addressing the gathering, CM Nayab Saini stated that nearly 2 crore jobs have been created in the last 12 years through Khadi and village industries. The Employment Festival reflected this significant contribution to India’s employment landscape.

He said Khadi represents not just traditional craftsmanship but also a strong pillar of India’s self-reliant economy, and the Khadi Employment Festival strengthens this vision further.
Push for Women Self-Help Groups and Digital Marketing
The Chief Minister highlighted that the government is actively promoting women self-help groups to enhance rural income generation. The Employment Festival also emphasized expanding market access for their products through e-commerce platforms.
He added that the Khadi Employment Festival plays an important role in connecting rural artisans with national and international markets, improving livelihood opportunities.
