The Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students (PM-USP CSSS) has extended the deadline for online applications for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is part of the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, which is administered by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The deadline, which was originally November 15, 2025, has been extended until November 30, 2025. On June 2, 2025, the application process started.

According to a Board representative, the merit cut-off list for new, eligible students under this program can be found on the Board’s official website, www.bseh.org.in. In accordance with the criteria published by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi, students who are qualified for renewal may also apply. These rules can be found on www.scholarships.gov.in, the National Scholarship Portal.

He advised that state nodal officer verification at the L-2 level must be finished by December 31, 2025, and online applications for new and renewed scholarships received by all schools, universities, and institutions (L-1 level) must now be validated by December 15, 2025.

By November 31, 2025, eligible students must submit their online applications through the National Scholarship Portal (www.scholarships.gov.in) for new scholarships or for the first, second, third, and fourth renewals, he added. Additionally, all schools, universities, and other institutions have been directed to notify students at their level and confirm their online applications as soon as possible in order to ensure that the scholarship funds are distributed on schedule.
