Ahmedabad/Junagadh/Surendranagar/Botad – AAP Gujarat Frontal President Praveen Ram has commented on the joining of his close associate Raju Karpra into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), calling it a resolution to the ongoing political controversy surrounding farmers’ issues in the state.

Speaking in a video statement, Praveen Ram said, “My close friend has now donned the saffron colors of BJP. From the very beginning, we said that the deal regarding the farmers’ movement was struck in jail itself, and that the betrayal of farmers started there. Despite this, my friend raised several allegations against AAP Gujarat, but with his joining BJP today, all those claims have proven baseless.”

Praveen Ram: Move Proves Accusations Against AAP Gujarat Were Unfounded

Praveen Ram emphasized that the move would demonstrate to Gujarat’s farming community that the accusations leveled against AAP Gujarat were unfounded. “Farmers will see that AAP Gujarat has always stood for their rights and their cause,” he said.

He added, “We wish him well as he joins BJP and hope that he continues to fight for farmers’ rights and deliver justice, just as he did earlier. Our expectation is that he maintains his principles and works in the interest of Gujarat’s farmers.”

Reacting to the development, AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “This situation highlights how political strategies can temporarily create confusion, but AAP Gujarat has consistently stood for farmers’ rights, and this move by Raju Karpra shows the truth behind earlier allegations.”

Political analysts note that high-profile moves between parties often stir debates, but AAP Gujarat continues to assert its commitment to protecting farmers’ interests across the state.
