The issue of petrol price inflation in India has once again taken center stage as Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat president Isudan Gadhvi launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led government over rising fuel prices. He said that the continuous increase in petrol and diesel rates is putting heavy pressure on common households across the state.
Highlighting the concern of petrol price inflation in India, Isudan Gadhvi stated that fuel prices have increased by nearly ₹7.50 in just 11 days, with petrol crossing the ₹100 mark. He added that when the current central government came to power, petrol prices were around ₹62, but today the situation has drastically changed.

According to Gadhvi, the petrol price inflation in India is directly impacting daily essentials, as transportation costs are pushing up prices of vegetables, food items, and other basic commodities. Gadhvi Questions Benefits of Falling Crude Oil Prices as Petrol Price Inflation in India Continues
He further emphasized that the petrol price inflation in India continues despite a decline in global crude oil prices, questioning why consumers are not benefiting from cheaper international rates. He also pointed out that even offers of discounted oil from countries like Russia are not being passed on to the public.
Calling the situation alarming, Gadhvi said the petrol price inflation in India has reached a point where people are unable to raise their voices against rising costs. He urged citizens to become aware and demand accountability, stating that public pressure is necessary to address the growing economic burden.
