Following Punjab’s AAP victory, Gujarat voters may embrace performance-focused politics in the 2027 assembly elections.
Gujarat : In a decisive victory, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured a landslide majority in the district panchayat elections in Punjab, reaffirming the popularity of its governance model among the people.
The party’s success is largely attributed to its focus on work-based politics. Under the AAP government, initiatives like waiving electricity bills and improving government schools and hospitals have garnered widespread public approval. These measures have not only alleviated financial burdens but also enhanced the quality of public services, contributing to the party’s strong performance in the elections.
