Gadhvi questioned the silence of ruling party leaders over what he described as hardships faced by farmers. He alleged that the Gujarat farmers issue reflects gaps in government policies related to agriculture and rural development.

He also raised concerns about the use of agricultural land for infrastructure projects such as high-tension power lines and other utilities.
