AAP MLA Gopal Italia exposes Rs 1.14 crore corruption in Bardiya village government hospital, accusing BJP leaders of financial mismanagement in Visavadar.

Visavadar, Gujarat: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Gopal Italia has alleged large-scale corruption by BJP leaders in the construction of a newly built government hospital in Bardiya village, Visavadar taluka. The hospital, constructed at a reported cost of Rs 1.14 crore, is now under scrutiny following Italia’s revelations on X.

According to the MLA, the project intended to provide essential healthcare facilities to local residents was plagued by financial irregularities and mismanagement. Italia accused BJP leaders of inflating costs and compromising on quality, putting public welfare at risk.

“This is blatant misuse of public funds meant for healthcare in Bardiya,” Gopal Italia said in his post on X. “The residents deserve transparency and accountability. We demand a full investigation into the matter and strict action against those responsible.”

The allegations have sparked political controversy in Visavadar, with the AAP urging the state government to look into the corruption claims. Local residents expressed concerns about the quality of the hospital infrastructure, citing issues such as incomplete facilities and substandard construction work.
