Chaitar Vasava Participates in Narmada District Development Meeting on Public Grievances

A Narmada District Development Meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Narmada Collector to review ongoing development works and address public grievances across the district. The meeting focused on infrastructure progress, basic amenities, and urgent citizen issues affecting multiple talukas.

During the discussion, AAP Gujarat leader Chaitar Vasava highlighted key public concerns including road construction delays, drinking water shortages, employment issues, fuel availability, and essential supply disruptions.

Narmada District Development Meeting Focuses on Road and Water Projects

The Narmada District Development Meeting emphasized the need for timely completion of all ongoing asphalt road construction projects in the district. Officials were instructed to ensure that road works are completed within the stipulated deadlines without compromising quality.

Water supply issues were also a major focus of the Narmada District Development Meeting, where directives were given to install new handpumps in affected areas and immediately repair non-functional ones. Village panchayats, taluka panchayats, and the water supply department were urged to coordinate effectively.

Employment and Wage Concerns Raised in Narmada District Development Meeting

During the Narmada District Development Meeting, concerns related to employment generation were strongly raised. It was urged that more people should be provided work under MGNREGA, while local employment opportunities in the Forest Department should also be increased.

Additionally, the issue of daily wage workers was discussed, with demands that employees across various departments should receive wages as per the government’s minimum wage guidelines.

Fuel and Fertilizer Shortage Discussed in Meeting

The Narmada District Development Meeting also addressed shortages of petrol and diesel in areas such as Sagbara, Chikhada, and Dediyapada talukas. Long queues at fuel stations have been causing inconvenience to residents, prompting demands for immediate administrative action.

Along with fuel concerns, the shortage of fertilizers was also raised, with officials being urged to ensure timely availability for farmers in the district.

Issues Related to Schools, Anganwadis and Rural Development

The Narmada District Development Meeting further included discussions on issues related to anganwadis, schools, and other rural development projects. Representatives called for faster resolution of pending matters affecting basic education and child welfare services.

Officials present at the meeting assured that all issues raised during the Narmada District Development Meeting would be addressed with a positive approach and resolved in a time-bound manner.
