Ahmedabad: Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat women’s wing president Payal Sakariya has raised concerns regarding Gujarat Women Safety, pointing to crime statistics and questioning the effectiveness of existing safety systems in the state.
During a press interaction in Ahmedabad, she stated that the issue of Gujarat Women Safety remains a major concern despite multiple government initiatives and allocated funds for women protection and welfare.

Referring to NCRB data, Sakariya highlighted reported cases of crimes against women, including domestic violence and other serious offenses.
