AAP holds Vadodara booth worker conference; Kejriwal criticizes BJP’s mismanagement of farmers, education, healthcare, and tribal welfare in Gujarat.

Vadodara, Gujarat: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) organized a major booth worker conference in Vadodara, attended by AAP National Convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, along with key leaders including Gopal Rai, Durgesh Pathak, Isudan Gadhvi, Gopal Italia, Chaitar Vasava, and several district and local leaders. The event was attended by a large number of booth workers and party supporters from across the region.

Addressing the conference, Kejriwal criticized the BJP-led government in Gujarat, alleging that over the years, the party had exploited the people, mismanaged resources, and failed to deliver basic public services. “Farmers do not receive fertilizers or seeds on time, irrigation systems fail, and crop prices are manipulated. Government schools have deteriorated, forcing parents to send children to private schools controlled by BJP-affiliated interests. Even public hospitals are mismanaged intentionally so that people are forced into private healthcare,” Kejriwal said.

He highlighted the plight of unemployed youth, claiming that young people were being trapped in drug scandals, while their future prospects were ignored. Kejriwal further said, “This is not merely a political fight; it is a fight for the dignity and rights of Gujaratis. The BJP has insulted citizens, mismanaged tribal welfare funds, and failed to deliver basic amenities for decades.”

Kejriwal cited the recent Harni Talab incident, where 12 children and two teachers drowned due to lack of safety measures, as an example of mismanagement and alleged negligence by BJP-appointed contractors. He also criticized the misuse of tribal welfare funds for events like the Prime Minister’s gathering, stating that such funds could have been used for schools, hospitals, roads, and free electricity.

Gujarat in-charge Gopal Rai said the AAP’s organizational structure in the state had strengthened through campaigns such as the “Quit Gujarat” movement, district and village-level meetings, and door-to-door outreach programs. He emphasized that workers must continue grassroots campaigns and maintain a strong presence in every booth to counter the BJP’s long-standing political dominance.

State President Isudan Gadhvi accused the BJP of authoritarian governance, corruption, and suppressing political opposition through police and administrative machinery. He urged party workers to remain fearless and fight for public rights, promising that the AAP would prioritize farmers, traders, youth employment, and social justice in Gujarat.

Other AAP leaders, including Chaitar Vasava and Gopal Italia, emphasized the importance of raising awareness among citizens and mobilizing public support to challenge the BJP’s 30-year dominance in the state. They vowed to fight for labor rights, fair wages, and protection against exploitation by the current government and industrialists.

The conference concluded with a renewed call for grassroots activism, strengthened organizational presence, and continued public engagement to ensure that the AAP emerges as a viable alternative in Gujarat ahead of the 2027 elections.
