Delhi Police bans vehicles from 3 pm to midnight on Gurudwara Road, Bipin Chandra Pal Marg, C R Park, and Greater Kailash II as Modi ji attends Durga Puja today.
Delhi, New Delhi: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival in the evening, Delhi Traffic Police on Tuesday issued a traffic advise for drivers due to the high volume of people visiting the Durga Puja pandals in Chittaranjan Park.
The Outer Ring Road between Panchsheel and Greater Kailash, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, J B Tito Marg, Inder Mohan Bhardwaj Marg, and the C R Park main road will all be subject to traffic restrictions and detours between 3 p.m. and midnight, according to the advice.
Cars would not be allowed on Bipin Chandra Pal Marg, Gurudwara Road, or the inner roads of C R Park and Greater Kailash II.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Due to heavy footfall at Durga Puja Pandals & VIP movement in C.R. Park today (30.09.2025, 3 PM–12 Midnight), traffic restrictions/diversions will be in place.

Avoidable routes :
The following routes are impacted: C.R. Park Main Road, JB Tito Marg, Inder Mohan Bhardwaj Marg, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, and Outer Ring Road (Panchsheel–Greater Kailash).
Gurudwara Road, Bipin Chandra Pal Marg, and the internal roadways of C.R. Park/GK-II are closed.
Different paths and detours :
The LGVs/HGVs on the outer ring road (under the Panchsheel, IIT, and Nehru Place flyovers) included Mehrauli-Badarpur (MB) Road, MG Road, Aurobindo Marg, Mathura Road, and Lala Lajpat Rai Road.
On the Outer Ring Road, there will be detours beneath the Panchsheel, IIT, and Nehru Place flyovers. Both light and heavy cargo vehicles will be subject to them, even if they have legitimate no-entry permits.
To ease traffic, commuters are encouraged to take public transportation and stay away from the impacted areas during the restricted hours. M G Road, Aurobindo Marg, Mathura Road, Lala Lajpat Rai Road, and Mehrauli Badarpur Road are some of the suggested detours.
Drivers are advised to have patience, follow traffic laws, and assist law enforcement. For a more seamless experience, they are asked to heed the directions of the police officers stationed at strategic crossroads.
